How shockwave therapy works

Shockwave therapy uses targeted sound waves to:

  • Stimulate healing

  • Increase blood flow

  • Reduce pain

  • Break down damaged tissue

It is non-invasive and does not require injections or surgery.

What to expect

  • Short treatment sessions

  • Mild discomfort during treatment (varies)

  • Gradual improvement over several weeks

  • Often combined with stretching or footwear advice
