Foot pain doesn’t have to be part of your life... At Appleby Podiatry, we provide professional, down-to-earth foot care for adults, children and athletes. Whether you’re struggling with painful heels, recurring ingrown toenails, sports injuries or long-term foot conditions, we take the time to understand what’s going on, and treat the cause, not just the symptoms.
We’re based inside the St Luke’s Therapy Centre in Stroud, working alongside other healthcare professionals to give you the best possible care.

Foot Health Practitioner
I’m Claudi, originally from South Africa and based in England since 2019. I began my career as a beauty therapist and nail educator in 2010, later qualifying as a foot health practitioner with the SMAE Institute. I’m passionate about helping clients feel comfortable, confident, and cared for. Outside work, I enjoy quiet time with a good book to unwind.

Founder and Podiatrist
My path into podiatry followed a major career rethink after injury. I trained at the University of Brighton, then gained broad NHS community experience before founding Appleby Podiatry in Stroud. The practice has grown steadily, with interests in musculoskeletal podiatry, orthotics, nail surgery and verruca treatment. Outside work, I value fitness, sport, cycling, dance and family life and wellbeing overall.
Jamie
Foot Health Practitioner
I qualified in 2018 and have worked in health and social care since 2012, starting as a community carer. I hold a Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care and have extensive experience supporting people’s health, comfort, and independence. I’m caring and compassionate, committed to high-quality, person-centred care with dignity and respect. Outside work, I’m a mum to a 9-year-old, owner of two dachshunds.
Dynamic Gait Analysis
Advanced gait analysis & 3D printed orthotics
We use Footscan pressure plate technology to analyse how you walk and run. This allows us to identify abnormal pressure, imbalance and movement patterns that often cause pain in the feet, ankles, knees or hips.
Where appropriate, we design custom Phits orthotics, manufactured using advanced 3D printing technology. These insoles are:
